The #Salone17 review

The night Milan came to Alexandria!

Not everyone could go to Milan, so LightCo, together with Indesign, was the venue for a review of Salone del Mobile 2017.

Platters of Italian prosciutto, salamis, Italian Gorgonzola cheeses, breads, antipastos and other delicacies and an outside bar greeted guests.

A distinguished industry panel discussed their insights, observations and often personal views of the event in an extremely engaging and entertaining way.

Featuring multi-disciplinary designer Adele Bates from Melbourne, Todd Hammond of Hammond Studio, Henry Wilson of Studio Henry Wilson, Stephen Todd, Habitus Feature Editor and our own Roy Doron, the topics included, Technology & Innovation, Design Language, Colour & Materiality, Euroluce & Lighting, Best Stands, What Matters To Oz A+D?

Some of the highlights discussed were:

Invisible outlines Nendo

‘Invisible outlines’ is the title of Nendo‘s exhibition presented inside the Jil Sander showroom. This installation was not about “selling products”, but more ephemeral.
