Bomma continues to push the boundaries of glasswork with the launch of its Fragments Collection, designed by the innovative DECHEM Studio. This collection brings a fresh perspective on sustainable luxury, transforming glass excess into stunning lighting pieces that echo the natural beauty of gemstones formed under pressure.

The Fragments Collection is the first of its kind to incorporate Fragmentglass, Bomma’s new, eco-conscious material. By upcycling shards from previous glass productions, each lighting piece not only reduces waste but reimagines these remnants into objects of beauty and distinction. This blend of environmental mindfulness and signature Bomma innovation brings together craftsmanship, cutting-edge technology and timeless design.

The collection is offered in two pendant sizes—short and long—and three versatile colours: Black, White, and Flamingo Mint. These can be elegantly paired with minimalist mountings in Brushed Gold or Anthracite, lending the fixtures a refined aesthetic. The Fragments pendants can be arranged individually or in creative groupings, making them as versatile as they are distinctive.

Each Fragmentglass panel is meticulously crafted by stacking glass shards into a melting mould, a process that introduces unique textures and subtle details such as bubbles and iron traces. Bomma embraces these natural variations, adding layers of visual depth to every panel. While the designers select the shard size, colour, and format, the melting process itself ensures each piece remains one-of-a-kind, showcasing the organic nature of this material.
