Club Parramatta

Parramatta RSL has transformed into “Club Parramatta”, a new community destination which has been redeveloped to respond to the changing needs of the surrounding area, where it has been operating since 1947.

The client worked with the innovative and award-winning design company EJE Interiors, who was able to bring the brief to life. The modern development features wall-to-wall windows that create a light-filled interior, extensive outdoor terraced areas, and a wide range of entertainment and dining options.

LightCo assisted EJE Interiors with their vast knowledge and range of unique decorative lighting fixtures. As the venue had multiple nooks and spaces, this allowed for a variety of fun themes to be created throughout Club.

The walkway showcased the Amsterdam Wall Light by Karman, a light fixture which is part of the quirky and artistic Zoo collection that showcases different animal wall lights. This specific one is inspired by a famous bulldog in the Dutch capital city.

Displayed above the main bar is the Moby Dick Pendant Light by Karman reminds us of the giant and gibbous proportion(s) of Moby-Dick (“The Whale” novel by Herman Melville). Apparently, Matteo Ugolini, imagines the humpback standing out in the sea in a blinding whiteness and all around are waves boiled in white foam. This indoor suspension is made of fibreglass with a smooth outer finish; whereas the inner finishing is rough.

Located within one of the eateries at Club Parramatta is the Kimono Pendant Light by Karman, a lantern that will catch your attention because it is a guardian of light – unquestionably a source and protection in one! Its shape has no end and it looks like it melts into the air as if light gains depth.Matteo Ugolini came up with the fiberglass structure in white finish. The package includes outdoor wiring and is up for grabs in small and large sizes.
