Cafe Toscano is Forster’s (NSW) newest and most exciting dining destination of 2020. The inspiration for the venue was inspired by the beautifully “old fashion” Tuscan cafe’s that are hidden in the back of a cobblestone lane.
Mellisa Collison Design was the interior design studio who led the Cafe Toscano project, the team incorporated the “Old Fashion Italy Cafe” style through a creative selection of materials, finishes and patterns used throughout.
Cafe Toscano boasted elegance and charm through beautiful arched mirrors placed throughout, grapevines scattered throughout the shelves and ceilings, brass detailing and the prominent but soft colours tones used.
LightCo assisted Mellisa Collison with custom lighting from the popular Italian brand, Il Fanale. The lighting customisation was an extension of a favoured collection, the Molecola. The Molecola collection is composed of floor, table & wall lamps, two types of ceiling light, and three pendant light varieties – all creating an exquisite products balance for all indoor environments.
