Spacious country-style home designs are inspired by the architecture of our early settlement and combining the timeless features of traditional farmhouse home designs – large rooms, high ceilings and wide verandas. Life Home Builders incorporated the classic farmhouse style with their recent project located in the very prestigious precinct of Kangaloon.
The five-bedroom classic country style estate features stunning wall panelling throughout the entire home, brushed chrome bathroom detailing and stunning French doors scattered around the home. LightCo assisted with the country inspired lighting, three lights were selected – Lofoten Wall Light by Norlys, Dover 4lt Pendant Light by Lighting Republic and Khonus Pendant Light by Il Fanale.
Khonus Pendant Light by Il Fanale was born out of simple and linear shape that inspires a functional design. Made of pre-aged iron, it reflects the light both upwards and downwards – illuminating the entire indoor environment.
The Khonus collection of conical-shaped lamps is available in small, medium, and larges sizes with max drop of 108/218/231cm, respectively. To be used individually or combined creates suggestive compositions…best enhance the essence of the project.
The Dover collection was inspired by the pre-electric gas lights of towns in 19th century England and France. Fittings are all hand-crafted using traditional artisan techniques then dipped in specially formulated chemicals to naturally pre-age the raw material. Available in a 2 light and 4 light version.
The Lofoten wall light by Norlys combines a traditional light fitting with a modern edge. It is IP44 suitable for outdoors but can also be used indoors as seen in the inspiration image.
