Terminus Hotel is a late 19th century pub and hotel that sat in a state of abandoned disrepair for over 30 years. Extensively re-designed and restored, sturdy blackened steel frames feature indoors and out, contrasting against the original brick and sandstone walls to define its revived strength.
The project required the sourcing and managing of skilled craftspeople and heritage experts to re-invigorate the main public bar, outside courtyard, formal drinking, and dining parlours upstairs, plus the adjoining boutique accommodation comprising nine suites.
Luchetti Krelle worked with LightCo and one of our brands Il Fanale to develop several custom lighting fittings to suit the project brief and requirements. Customisations were made to the Cantina pendant light, Molecola 5lt pendant light and the Galileo pendant light. The perfect half-sphere of the Galileo was transformed into three versions of a wall light.
Il Fanale’s pre-aged finishes blend beautifully with the preserved patina of the old pub.
