LightCo has a proud history of working with Elstead Lighting as their exclusive distributor in Australia. We are excited to bring you their new brand, Quintiesse, which focuses on unique and memorable design.
The range can be broken down into three styles. Firstly, the sleek and refined modern designed fittings, many with retro and vintage inspiration. Second, are the fittings with a more unique, artistic approach, many using hand-patinated finishes. Third is a collection of transitional styled products that are inspired by traditional design but embrace modern elements.
Quintiesse offers chandeliers, pendants, wall lights, ceiling flushes, and portable lamps. There is a comprehensive range of outdoor lights, too. It is worth noting that all the wall lights are IPP44 rated, making them suitable for bathroom applications.
Elstead Lighting is launching Quintiesse with the aim to bring a standalone collection to market that is known for its creativity and quality. The new brand is collaborating with renowned creatives to develop some of their products. This includes American lighting brand Fredrick Ramond, and Californian interior designer Lisa McDennon.
Elstead Lighting is a well-established British company that manufactures and distributes decorative lighting worldwide. Located in the heart of the Hampshire countryside, they are proud to still use traditional handcrafts in the production of lights as well as embrace modern technology with CNC machines.

Kimrose
The Kimrose collection is an Art Deco masterpiece. Its geometric shapes take center stage in a gorgeous Brushed Natural Brass or Polished Nickel finish. The shades are clear fluted glass, meaning they’re ribbed gently with vertical grooves to produce a subtle lighting effect. For lighting without the effect, simply remove the shades.
Facet
For a profile that is unpretentious, yet unforgettable, view all sides of Facet. Interesting angles combine with a bold centre bracket to create the edgy and contemporary look. Hexagonal etched glass is showcased by Heritage Brass, Polished Chrome of Matte Black centre and end caps of the same shape, while the Invisi mount system remains unseen to highlight the design.
Pim
The Pim collection features a nostalgic mid-century modern design with round-shaped satin etched cased opal glasses. A perfect addition to contemporary and transitional settings, the range is available in Fox Gold or Polished Chrome.
Ashland Bay
Add a little bit of colonial charm with the Ashland Bay collection. The traditional design is enhanced by a burnished bronze finish and clear seeded glass. Use with Edison-style LED bulbs for time-honoured appeal.
Somerset
Chic and elegant, the Somerset collection exudes a quiet and precise sophistication. Subtly fusing modernity with vintage appeal, its etched opal or clear seedy glass deftly floats inside a streamlined frame while understated turned metal knobs add an authentic edge. This classy collection is available in Heritage Brass, Brushed Nickel and Black finishes.
Elroy
Elroy’s charming mini-pendant design features authentic details like cast knobs, clear ribbed optic glass, and bold strap details in a variety of on-trend finish options. Edison-style bulbs are the ideal companion, reinforcing Elroy’s versatility and ability to enhance interiors ranging from traditional to industrial to modern farmhouse.
