LightCo at Design Show Australia

From 20-22 October LightCo exhibited at the Design Show Australia to showcase our latest luxury lighting.

We thoroughly enjoyed catching up with familiar faces and meeting new talent in the industry. On display was a highly curated selection of products, including a massive cluster of 36 Volum pendants by Lodes, which made a beautiful ethereal impression.

For our stand, LightCo partnered with Eclipse Handcrafted Furniture, an Australian design and manufacturing business that specialises in contemporary timber furniture. We collaborated on the design and fit-out, creating multiple vignettes that showcased our lights insitu. The Volum, Leda and Cone pendants were all styled above Eclipse’s solid dining tables like you would see in a beautifully designed dining area.

Another hit at the show was portable lamps. LightCo presented two styles: the Easy Peasy, the Poldina and Poldina Micro.

Rechargeable LED table lamps have surged in popularity now each charge lasts about 10-12 hours. They can supplant candles on a dining table, either at home or in a restaurant. Low maintenance and without any unsightly cords, portable lamps are becoming a go-to for designers.

LightCo were asked to assist in supplying products to the Archipro stand which was expertly designed by Anouk & Co. Three styles of pendants went in – Random Solo, Circle and Parlour Lite – all in clusters throughout the huge stand. On tables, the Poldina and Poldina Micro table lamp added a sense of cosiness and intimacy.

Hosted at the ICC Exhibition Centre in Sydney, Design Show Australia is DENFAIR rebranded, and is the nation’s largest and most significant exhibition for interiors, architecture, and fit-out solutions.

Design Show Australia 2022 was a great show that really demonstrated the strength and innovation in the Australian design industry. We’ll see you again next time!
